Mediterranean Rhythms. Electronic Energy. Collective Trance.
Alright Mela is a Franco-Moroccan trio that brings together Mediterranean influences, Gnawa traditions, electric oud, and electronic music. Their performances combine hypnotic beats, psychedelic textures, and powerful vocals to create a sound that is both deeply rooted and strikingly contemporary.
Formed by Markus, Cheb Xavi, and Moroccan Gnawa artist Jaouad El Garouge, the group moves between Europe, the Maghreb, and the Middle East, creating music that is designed as much for movement as for reflection.
Their songs explore themes such as migration, tolerance, identity, and coexistence, transforming the dance floor into a space for both celebration and thought. Through groove, rhythm, and collective energy, Alright Mela creates live performances that are immersive, vibrant, and impossible to experience passively.
