They facilitated the sharing of stories\, knowledge and traditions across borders. Similarly\, Queer Caravan aims to traverse physical and metaphorical landscapes to foster cross-border connections and promote a sense of community among LGBTQIA+ writers and storytellers from underrepresented communities in India\, France and Germany. \nThe Queer Caravan is a collaborative residency program led by the Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan\, the French Institute in India\, and The Queer Muslim Project\, with support from the German-French Cultural Fund. This unique initiative brings together queer storytellers and artists from France\, Germany\, and India to amplify underrepresented LGBTQIA+ voices and foster cross-cultural dialogue. \nIt embodies a multifaceted approach to achieving these goals: it seeks to introduce emerging LGBTQIA+ writers from diverse marginalized communities to new and distinct literary-cultural landscapes while facilitating meaningful interactions between these writers and local communities. The program also supports the creation and dissemination of alternative narratives about what it means to be queer and from marginalized communities. \nARTISTSKadir Özdemir\, Germany \nKadir Özdemir is an author\, theatre maker\, and political educator. With sequences lasting approximately 25 seconds\, Jumpstyle embodies a release of energy\, frustration\, and defiance\, creating a powerful visual and emotional experience. Often beginning as a private practice filmed in bedrooms and shared online\, Jumpstyle grows into a communal art form through virtual battles\, real-world meetups\, and collective performances in public spaces. \nTo Da Bone not only brings these electrifying styles to the stage but also reflects on the role of social media platforms like YouTube and Facebook in mobilizing crowds and creating opposition movements. This unique work bridges the virtual and physical\, capturing the journey of dance from individual expression to a collective act of rebellion. \nChoreographed by (La)HORDE\, known for their innovative and bold explorations of contemporary dance\, To Da Bone pushes the boundaries of performance art by fusing urban culture with high-energy choreography. The collaboration with the Ballet National de Marseille enhances this dynamic production\, delivering an electrifying and thought-provoking experience. \nPrepare to be captivated by this intense\, rhythmic\, and deeply evocative performance as it embarks on its India tour. Witness the energy\, passion\, and artistry of youth rebellion like never before. \nAbout (LA)HORDE\n\n	\n \n	\n\n\n(LA)HORDE is a collective that was founded in 2013 by the three artists Marine Brutti\, Jonathan Debrouwer and Arthur Harel. Together they question codes of various artistic disciplines\, especially contemporary live art and performing arts. At the head of the Ballet National de Marseille since September 2019\, they have created choreographic works\, films\, video installations and performances\, that always evolve around the body in movement. \nFrom the interaction and the juxtaposition of these different media\, they develop scenarios and actions that take up\nradically contemporary themes and questions. (LA)HORDE collaborates with communities of individuals on the margins of the mainstream\, and part of their art is also the practice of practical solidarity. They have worked with groups of seventy-year-olds\, blind performers\, smokers\, juveniles… Contrary to any form of hierarchy and cultural appropriation\, they work at eye level with the performers.\nAt the centre of their work is the body. (LA)HORDE create works from their encounters with various online communities and thus also investigates what has happened to dance since the advent of the Internet. This is a theme that (LA)HORDE is very passionate about and so they define their work as work on “post-Internet dance». \nAbout Ballet National de Marseilles\n\n	\n \n	\n\n\nThe Ballet National de Marseille is a creation of our times\, a place of emergence of an emergence which\, since its inception\, has been charged with a very special aura. The fruit of an exception\, this structure emancipates itself from the French centrality. Roland Petit inaugurates this story\, whose various adventures and successes are a history of dance. The Ballet’s intrinsic vivacity in the direction of (LA)HORDE a regenerative form that once again imprints the identity of an ecstatic creative community. In 1972\, choreographer Roland Petit created Les Ballets de Marseille.\nHaving lost its plural form\, the Ballet National de Marseille became a Centre Chorégraphique National in 1984. The creation and dissemination of Ballet and guest artists. Firmly rooted in curiosity and openness to the world\, the BNM is also a landmark of Marseille’s architectural heritage. \nThe CCN Ballet National de Marseille – direction (LA)HORDE is supported by the DRAC Paca\, the French Ministry of Culture\, the City of Marseille and the BNP-Paribas Foundation.

This rigorous search culminated in the selection of six exceptional Indian dancers\, each chosen for their unique skills and extraordinary talent. By implementing such projects\, the French Institute is looking at creating a real creative dialogue between French and Indian professionals. Long-term collaborations like this one are perfect platforms for people to learn about each other. \nThis year\, Compagnie Käfig is set to present one of their acclaimed productions\, Cartes Blanches\, featuring the selected Indian dancers from the public auditions. The dancers have been rehearsing under the expert guidance of Mourad Merzouki and his team to bring this French production to life. Mourad Merzouki has crafted this performance to reflect on his journey and honor those who have shared it with him. Having this piece performed by Indian dancers for the first time definitely means opening a new chapter and sharing the very DNA of the company with the Indian audience. Without losing sight of the roots of hip-hop movement\, of its social and geographical origins\, this multidisciplinary approach opens new horizons and reveals original outlooks. \nSince 1996\, 31 creations have been performed in 700 cities and 65 countries. Compagnie Käfig has given more than 4\,000 performances to over 2 million spectators. Each year the company delivers a hundred or so performances around the world pushing the boundaries of dance. \nAbout Prakriti Foundation\n\n	\n \n	\n\n\nPrakriti Foundation was founded in Chennai in 1998 to host events enquiring into cultural heritage and inheritance in order to change and enlarge the cultural scene of Chennai. This production marks another significant step in the company’s ongoing exploration of cross-disciplinary art\, engaging audiences of all ages and cultures. Beyond words\, it opens up a space for imagination and poetry. Using just paper\, charcoal\, and a guitar\, the artists bring the creative process to life\, immersing viewers in the intimate and often solitary act of creation. \nPremiered in 2023\, this latest work by the company has been recently showcased at prestigious venues\, including the Barbican Centre in London\, the Venice Biennale\, and Théâtre de la Ville de Paris\, among others. The two artists behind STEREOPTIK\, Romain Bermond and Jean-Baptiste Maillet\, push their artistic boundaries with this production\, combining animation techniques like hand-drawn cartoons\, stop-motion\, painting\, object theatre\, and music. As both a film and a live creation\, the show reveals the intricacies of the company’s creative process\, offering audiences a rare glimpse into the art of making. \nAbout Stereoptik\n\n	\n \n	\n\n\nFormed in 2008 during the creation of the show of the same name\, Stereoptik is a duo composed of Romain Bermond and Jean-Baptiste Maillet\, both visual artists and musicians. Based on a score they write and develop together\, each of their shows is created in front of the audience. Painting\, drawing\, shadow\, object and puppet theatre\, silent film\, live music\, and animation are all areas in which Stereoptik blurs the boundaries. The many arts brought onto the stage are guided by one principle: showing the audience the technical process that leads to the development of characters\, scenes\, and a story. The audience is free to be carried away by the projected images and story or to focus on the details—how the drawing moves on the screen\, how the ink gives birth to a silhouette on a transparent background\, and which instrument is used to bring it to life. Visual\, musical\, and devoid of text\, Stereoptik’s creations arouse curiosity and astonishment in audiences of all ages and cultures. \nAlliance Française TourSeason 2024-25\nAlliances Françaises proudly promote French-Indian cultural ties with iconic productions like “Antichambre” and others. Long-term collaborations like this one are perfect platforms for people to learn about each other. \nThis year\, Compagnie Käfig is set to present one of their acclaimed productions\, Cartes Blanches\, featuring the selected Indian dancers from the public auditions. Eight students from ENSATT\,  four of whom belong to the school’s acting department\, and four others from the technical departement\, with various specializations in light and sound design\, costumes\, etc.\, were invited to train and work on the staging of the play with Adishakti profesionnals\, under the mentorship of Director Nimmy Raphel. \nAt the heart of He-Rose lies a profound inquiry into the nature of heroism. Drawing parallels between iconic figures such as Arjuna from the Mahabharata and Achilles from the Iliad\, the production challenges conventional notions of heroism\, inviting audiences to contemplate the interplay between vulnerability and courage. Through a series of thought-provoking performances and workshops\, the project aims to celebrate the multifaceted nature of heroism\, emphasizing the universality of human. \nPondicherryChennaiPondicherryVaranasiDelhiChandigarhPunePondicherry\n\n\n24\, March 2024\nTime: 6 pm\nVenue: Alliance Française de Pondichéry\n58\, Suffren St\, White Town\, Puducherry\, 605001 \nKnow more\nChennai\n\n27 March\, 2024\nTime: 8 pm\nVenue: Alliance Française Madras\n24\, College Rd\, opposite GOOD SHEPHERD MATRICULATION HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL-NUNGAMBAKKAM\, Subba Road Avenue\, Nungambakkam\, Chennai\, Tamil Nadu 600006 \nKnow more\nPondicherry\n\n1 April\, 2024\nTime: 7:30 pm\nVenue: Adishakti Theatre Festival\nAdishakti\, Edayanchavady Road\,Vanur Taluk\,\nAuroville Post\,Irumbai Panchayat\,\nVillupuram District\,Tamil Nadu – 605 101 \nKnow more\nVaranasi\n\n11 April\, 2024\nTime: 6:30 pm\nVenue: Nagari Natak Mandali\, Near Hospital\, Kabir Math\, Sant Kabir Rd\, Kabir Nagar Churaha\, Jhandatale\, Varanasi\, Uttar Pradesh 221001 \nClick here to register \nKnow more\nDelhi\n\n13 April\, 2024\nTime:  7 pm\nVenue: National School of Drama (NSD)\, House 1\, Bahawalpur\, Bhagwan Das Rd\, opposite PNB Bank\, Mandi House\, New Delhi\, Delhi 110001 \nKnow more\nChandigarh\n\n17 April\, 2024\nTime: 7:30\nVenue: Tagore Theatre\, Sector 18 Chandigarh\, 160018 \nKnow more\nPune\n\n20 April\, 2024\nTime: 7 pm\nVenue:  NM Wadia Amphitheatre\, Fergusson College\, GRFQ+8F2\, Shivajinagar\, Pune\, Maharashtra 411004 \nClick here to register \nKnow more\nAbout ENSATT\n\n	\n \n	\n\n\nENSATT\, National Superior School of Arts and Techniques of Drama\, is a French public school which trains students for all performance linked occupations. They learn all components of artistic creation: scriptwriting\, stage direction\, acting\, sound\, lightings\, scenography\, costume\, administration and technical management. ENSATT’s pedagogic policy encourages an experience-based learning process: students\, during internships or creations\, train with French and foreign professionals. No hierarchy could exist between Arts and Techniques. Each discipline includes both aspects which are unique\, essential and revealed in the collective strength. \nSince 2018\, a proactive and militant policy is implemented to ensure an access to the world artistic’s repertoires of America\, Africa\, Asia\, Europe and Oceania to ENSATT’s students. Following the He-Roes adventures and the forthcoming signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National School of Drama (NSD) in Delhi\, India has emerged as a significant partner for ENSATT in the global landscape. \nAbout Adishakti Laboratory for Theatre Art Research\n\n	\n \n	\n\n\nAdishakti Laboratory for Theatre Art Research is a contemporary theatre research and repertory company near Pondicherry\, India. It is a place where they engage in performance researches which enable the group to develop a unique theatrical language. These research findings are spread around through residential workshops open to artists from varied disciplines. Adishakti reaches out to other performance groups\, artists and idea generators to evolve its own art practices\, workshops\, residencies\, retreats\, seminars and performances in a place that encourages hybrid expression. To quote its founder and late Veenapani: “The answer is in being hybrid; to nurture old knowledges but also to always be pluralistic in order not to be conditioned by positions and ideologies”. \nAlliance Française TourSeason 2024\nAlliances Françaises proudly promote French-Indian cultural ties with iconic productions like “He-Rose” and more. She is also known as the daughter of Gilbert Pounia\, the lead singer of Ziskakan\, one of the most famous Maloya bands from Réunion Island. Very early\, and thanks to her father\, she has developed a deep interest and relationship to India where she was last touring in 2018. For her return\, she will be performing this time her new EP “Sovaz”\, the Creole word for “wild”\, where she experiments urban pop music in a freestyle approach. With her mesmerizing vocals and deep-rooted connection to Maloya\, a music genre usually sung in Réunion Creole\, she offers a unique blend of traditional and contemporary music. Her music is a reflection of her diverse influences\, from traditional Maloya to slam\, rock\, reggae\, jazz\, and dance\, along with island blues melodies\, and Afro-beats. \nJodhpurLucknowAhmedabadBhopalKolkataJodhpur\n\n12 December\, 2023\nTime: 9 pm\nVenue: Daspan House\nOld\, Loco Rd\, Ratanada\, Jodhpur \nLucknow\n\n14 December\, 2023\nTime: 8 pm\nVenue: Cafe Hons\nLe Press\, Naval Kishore Rd\, Hazratganj\, Lucknow \nAhmedabad\n\n16 December\, 2023\nTime: 8:30 pm\nVenue: Natrani Amphitheatre\nDarpana Academy of Performing Arts\, Usmanpura\, Ahmedabad \nBhopal\n\n20 December\, 2023\nTime: 6:30 pm\nVenue: Bahirang\, Bharat Bhawan\nOutdoor Amphitheater\, Near Upper Lake\, Krishna Nagar\, Shymala Hills\, Bhopal \nKolkata\n\n22 December\, 2023\nTime: 10 pm\nVenue: Miss Ginko Club\n169\, Rashbihari Avenue\, 3rd Floor\, City Mart\, Ballygunge\, Kolkata \nAbout Maya Kamaty\n\n	\n \n	\n\n\nLong gone now seems the time when the “Pounia kid” – who gets her name from the founder of the famous Ziskakan collective\, from Reunion Island – then a student in Montpellier\, left the safety of home to take to the stage as a backup singer. \nSince then\, Maya has reconnected with her island and made creole and maloya her own. Her parents and their dalons (friends)\, among them the celestial bum Alain Peters\, fought relentlessly\, as early as 1979\, to keep their music alive. Proudly bearing the kayamb\, its most distinctive instrument\, Maya takes a hold of her own history\, mirroring that of the island itself\, and makes it the driving force behind her work. She picks out her second name\, “Kamaty” (the name of a marginal\, intense and proud woman from the village of Grand Bois\, whom her father held in high esteem) as the key to her own path. \nMolded on the stage\, acclaimed by critics and fans alike\, her first album\, Santié Papang (2014)\, is voted « Coup de cœur » of the Académie Charles Cros\, allowing Maya to tour the world defending its songs: from India to Australia\, by way of Morocco\, South Africa\, Canada\, South Korea and China. \nDespite this success\, with her next step\, Maya Kamaty chooses to leave behind the acoustic dimension of her first album and to dig deeper into her own maps of musical exploration: “Making a second album just like Santié Papang would have been too easy. I needed to challenge myself\, to take risks.” \nFrom this\, there emerges Pandiyé\, released in 2018. An album hanging (a literal translation of its title from the creole) between tradition and modernity. \nPowerful basslines – borrowing equally from the Islandic composer Asgeir’s electro-folk\, Kendrick Lamar’s hip hop\, and Björk’s pop hits – lay the foundations for some of maloya’s more traditional instruments\, such as the kayamb or the roulèr\, to thrive on. Other instruments integral to the island’s culture can also distinctly be heard: the takamba for instance (also known as n’goni)\, as well as a number Indian drums\, usually heard in religious ceremonies of Tamil tradition – Maya herself being a 5th generation descendant of the indentured laborers who came from India to settle and work on the Island. \nCollaborating with producer Victor Vagh (Flavia Coelho)\, Maya and her team found just the right fit between organic and electronic music. Their reinvented maloya doesn’t belong solely to Reunion Island anymore\, but to the whole world\, and radiates emotion through hypnotic pulses\, messages through images. Above all\, it speaks of the live strength of the creole language. For if the envelope has changed\, Maya’s need to tell stories through songs has not. \nThe Pandiyé Tour brings the band to Europe and Canada\, and culminates in the opening of the Vieilles Charrues festival in July 2021\, before being brought to a halt by the current sanitary context. \nBut it would take more than a global pandemic to stop this rolling train. Maya Kamaty continues to lead her ongoing musical explorations and delves into the world of urban cultures to draft the contours of her new journey: “Sovaz” (“savage” in English). The world brutally stopping in its tracks gives her the time she needed to reassess and get involved in writing once more. \nWith this new EP\, the singer cuts yet another path for herself in the current musical landscape while refusing to cut any corners\, composes syncopated melodies and sings lyrics expressing a deep-rooted wrath\, which she expels with an urgency well-known to any street artist. Behind the term “Sovaz” itself lies the idea of a certain rawness\, of un-politeness\, of brazenness even – an attitude borrowing from the codes of street gangs\, of bad boys\, of rebellious girls. In this regard\, Sovaz can be read as the uncensored expression of a fully self-assured woman. \nFor this new opus\, which she defines as « Kreol Urban pop »\, Maya Kamaty teams up with beatmaker Sskyron and guitarist Adrien Pigeat\, in a minimalist format on the cutting edge of current urban creation; and with tasteful forays into hip hop\, trap and atmospheric pop\, she manages to build a mightily convincing and unconventionally deep repertoire. \n\nExtracts from Hortense Volle\, Frédérique Cheynet et Mounir Kabbaj \nAlliance Française ToursSeason 2023\nBy showcasing iconic French artists like Maya Kamaty\, Alliances Françaises continue their tradition of bringing the finest of French culture to India. The cultural season will run through December 2023\, allowing Alliances Françaises to participate in a wide range of artistic events and partnerships\, with music and vocal performances prominently featured in this year’s program.

A kind of emotional kidnapping with only one possible outcome: letting go. […] Mourad Merzouki’s hip-hop is regenerated from the imaginary connection. As if pixels had been transplanted in the very core of dancers’ muscles to transform them into gliding mutants.” \n  \n By Herald Sun\n“ Pixel is as close as it gets to a duet of projected images and dance. SUMMARY:Urban agriculture
DESCRIPTION:Today\, India has about 30 % of people living in urban areas. The urban population is likely to increase to 50% by 2050. Such an explosion in urban population raises questions of food security and economic issues hastened by other issues such as climate change.  \nUrban agriculture is one of the sustainable tools which can help in solving this issue\, becoming the “savior of rapid urbanization”. Not very widespread in India\, research on urban agriculture has been growing steadily in France in the past ten years. It has been more and more recognized as an efficient tool for creating more resilient cities\, help fight climate change by creating cooling areas\, help retain water in soils\, create biodiversity spots within the cities and create bio-waste that can be reused as natural fertilizers. On top of all\, it is a very powerful tool to create social bonds within the inhabitants of a neighborhood. \nThere are several forms of urban agriculture. Some are geared towards producing sufficient amounts of food to feed a population in need (subsistence agriculture). Others are more geared towards creating social bonds. The other forms are hybrid\, oscillating between these two primary objectives.   \n In this series of conferences\, we wish to discuss the benefits as well as shortfalls of urban agriculture in various contexts\, keeping in mind that this practice cannot be applied in a uniformed manner across different territories. \nThis series of conference will take place in the presence of two representatives of the French Association for Urban Agriculture\, created in 2016\, that will be invited to come from France for a week-long stay: \nFlore-Anaïs Brunet is the Urban Agriculture Project Manager at the “Le Mouvement des Régies\,” a national network of 130 social inclusion and community development associations operating in underprivileged areas in France. With a background in horticulture and landscape engineering\, along with numerous study trips to Latin America and Europe\, she specializes in socially-oriented urban agriculture after working in a botanical garden and landscape design offices in Paris and Berlin.  \nShe possesses strong skills in network facilitation\, event organization\, and project support for multifunctional urban agriculture initiatives in low-income neighborhoods. She is also certified in permaculture. As the vice-president of AFAUP since 2019\, she has a national understanding of the urban agriculture sector in France and represents socially-oriented urban agriculture projects\, associations\, and inclusion organizations.   \nShe particularly enjoys forging connections at various levels\, fostering collective thinking\, and facilitating professional networks to contribute to more fertile and peaceful communities. \nMarie Fiers is an agricultural engineer specialized in microbial ecology research. She has founded a counseling and engineering bureau in urban agriculture in France and specializes in hydroponics. A member of the French Association for Urban Agriculture since its creation\, she has been a board member before becoming a full-time employee. Marie is fascinated by the interactions between two worlds that we tend to oppose rather than connect – the rural and the urban worlds. She works out of Burgundy in France and her mission is to develop evaluation tools for assessing the benefits of urban agriculture as well as create synergies with European networks of urban agriculture. \nProgramme2023\n\n\n\n\nDate\nTime\nVenue\nProgramme\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n15 October 2023\n\nDelhi\nWorkshop: Beginner’s Guide to Urban Farming Sow some seeds!\n\n\n16 October 2023\n4 pm\nDelhi\nDiscussion: Urban agriculture: a tool for more sustainable\, resilient and inclusive cities? After studying animation\, she ventured off the beaten path and sought to showcase her art for all to see by creating murals in the streets of Paris as well as in numerous countries such as Cambodia\, Vietnam\, and Belgium. \nShe also creates mappings for events and animations on immersive devices\, such as at the Atelier des Lumières in Paris. \nHer style is situated on the border between naive\, surreal\, and ironic narration\, composed of cartoonish characters that are highly colorful and nuanced. Working on large-scale curves allows her the freedom to fully express her movements while bringing her various characters to life. \nSuper Bab\, born in 1993\, he created his first graffiti at the age of 13. In the following years\, he honed his graffiti techniques and explored other avenues such as painting\, drawing\, watercolor\, printmaking\, and ceramics. \nWhile studying at the Beaux-Arts in Paris\, he learned better academic techniques and developed his drawing skills as well as his personal style. \nStarting with a conventional drawing\, he adds an abstract touch\, particularly influenced by famous surrealist paintings such as those by Miró and Picasso. He also incorporates elements from outsider art and tribal art. \nAashti Miller is an architect\, illustrator and graphic designer. She was born and raised in Mumbai\, and studied Architecture at Cornell University in Ithaca\, New York. \nShe is the sole force behind MillerInk\, an illustration and graphic design studio. She constructs her drawings in an attempt to make sense of the unexpected collision of her two seemingly disparate worlds. \nAs a result\, her aesthetic and style have evolved into detailed drawings that tread the fine line between constructed and painted\, digital and analog\, two and three dimensional. Her work is heavily inspired by and explores spaces\, places\, and faces. \nJace started out as a street painter. For years\, after starting at the age of eleven by repainting his bike in shimmering vermillion red\, he traveled around the island of La Réunion and put his name up everywhere\, influenced by the hip-hop movement and lowbrow art\, although he considers himself free from any particular influence. \nAs a street artist\, he was critical of his own work\, feeling that it was not personal or identifiable enough. So he created a partner\, a teammate who became a legend before his creator: the Gouzou.

In 1999\, the team of Les Colporteurs teamed up with that of the Les Nouveaux Nez to imagine\, in Ardèche\, what became La Cascade\, National Circus Pole of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes\, of which they are since partners. In 2000\, after a serious accident\, Antoine Rigot must abandon wire-dancing\, but resumes work as an actor\, and engages in writing and stage direction. He conceives and directs the shows of Les Colporteurs : Diabolus in Musica (2003)\, Le Fil sous la Neige (2006)\, Hautes Pointures and Tarina (2007)\, Sur la Route… (2009)\, Le Bal des Intouchables (2012) \, Le Chas du Violon (2014)\, Evohé (2015)\, Sous la toile de Jheronimus (2017) and Le retour des papillons\, an exit show for Fratellini Academy students (2017). In 2018\, following the creation\, Méandres\, shared with Agathe\, Antoine Rigot directed\, along with Alice Ronfard\, the show F(r)iction for the 30th graduating class of CNAC. In 2019\, Antoine directed with Julien Lambert the show TOYO!\, a musical and acrobatic duo for young audiences. In 2022\, Antoine Rigot and Agathe Olivier create a new show under the big top with ten circus artists and musicians \, Coeurs Sauvages\, actually on tour in France and Europe. \nThe company Les Colporteurs produces and performs these shows under its big top\, indoors and in the public space\, in France and abroad. \nThe company Les Colporteurs is supported by the DRAC Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes\, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region\, Department of Ardeche and the City of Le Teil d’Ardèche. \nGilles Charles-Messance – tight-rope artist contorsionist\nIt all started for Gilles in 1977 when he walked into Annie Fratellini and Pierre Étaix’s circus. He was new to this world\, as they say. He started off being an acrobat\, then he created a circus act on a trampoline as well as a fixed trapeze act thanks to which he worked at Arlette Gruss’s circus\, then in several traditional circuses\, including Monti in Switzerland\, or Alexis Gruss. Later on\, he performed a flying trapeze act thanks to which he joined the Arts Sauts\, and a Washington trapeze act with which he began a long collaboration with the company Les Colporteurs. Gilles hates to say he works\, he’d rather say he has fun while making the audience happy. \nColine Rigot – musician\nAs the daughter of tightrope artists\, Agathe Olivier and Antoine Rigot\, Coline has always known the tricks of the trade… of contemporary Circus. During Volière Dromesko tour that Coline first walked on a rope and she started learning the violin with Hungarian Gypsy musicians of the company. Later on\, Coline alternated between learning the violin at the classical music academy\, and improvisation workshops with Carl Shlosser\, a saxophone player – jazz composer of the first show of Les Colporteurs\, Filao. Gradually she developed a poetic language combining rope and violin.\nAfter receiving the classical gold medal at the music Avignon academy and after learning jazz\, in Didier Lockwood’s class\, Coline led her life\, sometimes with circus\, including three creations with Les Colporteurs as musician or tightrope artist\, sometimes as theatre musician with FootsBar\, or even as violinist with collectives of travelling musicians\, such as Tchabadjo and Les Poissons Voyageurs. \nAbout Aaron Fernandes Entertainement\nAaron Fernandes is working as a producer on the tour of “Our Daily Performance” in India.
